Pre-Registration CLOSED on APRIL 15th. You can register in the morning at the Tournament Location on April 18th for SHITO-RYU KARATE-DO KYOKAI MEMBERS ONLY.
Time: Tournament begins at 10:00 a.m. sharp!
Doors open 8:30 a.m. (Multiple check in and registration tables in use)

Please Review Rules Here! Please see complete details from your instructor! Matches: All colored belt matches shall be two-minutes / 3 points. Black belt matches shall be 2 minutes / 3 full points or 6 half-points. All kumite events will be double elimination. Kata: Although there is no restriction on which kata may be performed, contestants are advised to perform a kata appropriate to their belt level. Beginner level to 6th kyu (green belt) may repeat the same kata if they choose. 5th kyu (purple belt) and higher must perform a different kata as they advance. Karate Kata and Kobudo Kata competition will use the flag system. Kobudo Kata in Black belt level division, competitors must perform traditional kata; no basic kata. Same kobudo kata may be repeated. Kit: Each competitor is responsible for arriving at the tournament with a complete Kit, which includes a white, traditional karate-gi (free of any markings other than dojo crest), a belt, white only hand protectors (Clean and good condition Kumite Gloves required, please no dirty/torn cloth gloves permitted for safety and hygiene) Groin protector, tooth guard. Regular glasses and jewelry may not be worn during kumite events under any circumstances. Sport type safety glasses permitted! Karate-gis must be clean and in good repair. Sleeves and pants must be properly cut and hemmed and cannot be rolled up. Tee shirts or other garments worn under the gi must be pure white in color only!
